Quick story for you! A few months ago, I was scrolling on my phone while in line at the movie theater. My sister was buying popcorn and I decided to scroll through my camera roll to find a quick video clip I could repurpose for a reel. I figured I would ‘favorite’ the clip, and get back to it later when I got home.
I ended up finding a video that I used as an Instagram story from 3 years ago. In the video, I showed how I photographed a product for one of my clients. I uploaded it to reels, added some photos and a caption, and literally posted it before my sister put butter on her popcorn LOL! 🍿

When we got out of the movie, I had an email from that product client asking if I could create reels for them on a quarterly basis. 😱 Now that’s what I call an unexpected WIN, especially from repurposing content! 🎉
Now the moral of this story isn’t to convince you to start offering ‘reels creation’ to your clients (unless you want to)! I’m simply asking you to take some time and go through your camera roll to find content that you can repurpose! Because that content is STILL valuable, it can reach new audiences, and can bring in more revenue! 💰

Don’t let IG reels intimidate you! You are a content creator – so you probably have plenty of content you can repurpose. Put some trending audio over it and write a helpful/insightful/funny caption as it relates to your business and brand!
