In a few weeks, our little family is doing something BIG. We are leaving Virginia and going to California… FOR A MONTH. ✈️🌴
It’s been my dream to ‘live somewhere else for 30 days’. Somewhere we can tour the area, live like locals, put groceries in the fridge, and clothes in the dressers. We decided on Orange County, California! ☀️ California holds a special place in my heart, and I’m thrilled for our boys to soak up the West Coast vibes. 😍
This plan has been brewing for ages, but life had other plans (pandemic, cancer diagnosis, treatment)l And now we’re finally making it happen! 👏🏽
I’m looking at this 30-day journey as a bit of a sabbatical. After 10 years of hustling in my business, I’ve never taken a break quite like this. Not even during my cancer battle (I was still photographing branding shoots and teaching in my courses while doing chemo).
So, what’s on the agenda for this soul-reviving break?
➡️ Quality time with my family
➡️ Adventuring all over Southern California
➡️ Giving my mind some much-needed R&R
That’s it. That’s the extent of what we have planned so far LOL. I can only imagine how refreshed and inspired I will be at the end of this trip and I can’t wait to bring you along for the ride!

It could be a few days, a couple of weeks, a whole summer, or even the magical month of December. Whatever suits you best, just plan accordingly and make it happen. You absolutely deserve it! 💛
