Preparing for a client branding photoshoot is not only exciting but also crucial for nailing their vision!

Here are 5 ways to help you prep effectively:
1. Review the Questionnaire & Pinterest Board: Dive into the completed client questionnaire and their Pinterest vision board. This insight into their brand and goals will guide your creative direction during the shoot! Quick tip: Have your client submit these items to you 30 days before the shoot so you have time to review them before moving to #3!
2. Location Scout: Get familiar with the shooting location in advance, whether it’s virtually exploring online or visiting local spots. Understanding the lighting and backdrop options beforehand is key!
3. Create a Branding Shoot Plan: Craft a detailed Branding Shoot Plan using information from the questionnaire and inspiration board.

Include their brand story, colors, props, shot list, and location details. This plan will not only enhance the client experience but also keep you organized on the day of the shoot, ensuring that every shot is in perfect alignment with their vision.
4. Create a Playlist: I like to help my clients loosen up and have fun with music!

Create a playlist or simply choose a Pandora station to jam to during the session! Don’t know what type of music your clients like? Just ask them!

5. Pack Ahead of Time: Avoid last-minute rushes by packing your camera gear, lighting equipment, snacks, and any other essentials the night before. Being prepared ensures a smooth and stress-free photoshoot day.
I hope these tips are help you prepare for your upcoming shoot!
